New to our reference collection is a wooden framed fly wallet (or book as they were called by Richard Wheatley & Son) This wallet has xylonite plates with 10 clips in a comb on one side and 7 on the other. Made around 1910. It has 5 parchment pouches for gut casts and on the leather cover a small tool holder for scissors and disgorger and eye cleaner. This one is badged for J. Ogden of Cheltenham. Richard Wheatley products have been made in the U.K. for over 150 years.
